Our long-standing friend and APF partner, Walubo Jude, has a bold vision: to plant one million trees across Uganda. With support from APF and other organisations, Jude has already overseen the planting of more than 68,000 trees – and the impact has been remarkable.

🌱 Jude’s trees are changing lives:

  • A school received umbrella trees to create a shaded outdoor classroom.
  • A hospital planted a micro-forest of fruit trees, improving patient nutrition.
  • Another school used hardy acacia trees as a living fence, protecting buildings and children from storms.

APF’s Dave shares:

“It has been my pleasure to help plant many trees with Jude over the years, more varieties than I can remember. Jude won’t let me leave Uganda without at least one tree-planting effort!”

Tree planting is more than planting greenery. It means:
